florestan festival at peasmarsh

19 - 22 June 2008

Welcome The Florestan Trio are thrilled to invite you to an exciting eleventh Florestan Festival at Peasmarsh, East Sussex. This year, we hope to entice you with a glorious feast of chamber music featuring the piano quintets from Fauré and Franck, a contemplative evening of solo Bach, and some of the greatest piano trios in the literature.

We are delighted to be joined by violinist Laura Samuel and violist Krzysztof Chorzelski, the ‘inner voices’ of the brilliant Belcea Quartet, who will make several appearances throughout the festival. The Florestan Festival Orchestra makes a popular return with a dazzling concerto concert in St Mary’s Church in Rye under the baton of renowned conductor Douglas Boyd.

We look forward to welcoming you in the summer at the 2008 Florestan Festival!
